About Us

Armill is an Essex based company covering sales into the UK as a master dealer for the EP Equipment range of lithium-ion forklifts. Our growing network of end users and dealers means there is an Armill EP expert near you.

Our History

Starting back in 1991 by Peter and Ann Millar, Armill predominantly looked after and serviced forklift trucks. However, the company progressed into forklift sales when their son Gary joined the company in 1995.

In 2012 David Dadd joined Armill Lift Trucks as Sales Manager but very quickly, through his efforts, was appointed Sales Director in May 2015.The beginning of 2021 marks David’s appointment as Managing Director and our move to promote Lithium ion forklifts on a large scale to compliment our engine and warehouse products.

Armill are now proud to have a large cross section of customers from small family businesses to large National companies throughout the UK, such as Aldi, Ryanair and Woodland Global to name a few and all have adopted lithium-ion technology to improve their operations and reduce costs.

Armill's Future

Armill continue to be at the forefront of new technology, being the first company to import the high voltage range of EP trucks designed for hard applications and longer run times. In additional every new product launched by EP Armill are the first to get behind and promote ensuring our customers always have the latest equipment packed with many safety features and cost saving advantages. 

Armills future is all about assisting companies in reducing their carbon footprint and improving sustainability. Our colour choice of green sets Armill apart so when our customer wants to take the green journey the logical choice is to choose the Armill EP green truck.

Gary Millar

Business Owner

Joining the company in 1995 Gary has worked for 25 years here at Armill beginning in the sales department of his parent business. Now having served 15 year as our managing director Gary restructured the company from its family roots to a major premier provider of materials handling. Gary eats, sleeps and breathes armill and his dedication to the company is second to none.

David Dadd

Managing Director

Now approaching 10 years here at Armill, company director David has an extensive agricultural machinery sales background that he has used to help grow the company as he worked his way up to a director position. David is instrumental in company-wide decision making to support the managing director and has seen great success in negotiating numerous high profile contracts that have driven growth here at Armill over the last decade. David looks forward to helping the company grow further in the next 10 years.

Helen Bradbury

Accounts Manager

With over a decade of accounts experience Helen is the first point of contact for all accounts queries. Managing invoices, payroll and all business finances, accounts here at Armill are managed effectively, efficiently and always with a smile! Joining us in 2019 we look forward to many more years working with Helen.

Alan Harvey

Service Manager

Alan joined us in 2013 and has since become a key member of the team with main responsibilities including management of our mobile engineers and ensuring that all parts and trucks are up to the Armill standard with his unrivalled technical knowledge. We value all our customers and Alan ensures our customer service expectations are met and exceeded.

Ivan Davis

Workshop Manager

The smooth running of our state of the art workshop is all thanks to Ivan. Heading up our team of engineers to ensure that refurbishments and repairs are completed to the highest possible standard.

Barney goes above and beyond in his role as Armill team mascot, always meeting his daily target of putting a smile on the faces of all staff and customers.
